According to him, it's challenging to digest such information while still actively involved in the season, gearing up for matches in the weekend or the Champions League.
He mentioned that although he engaged in talks with other teams, Madrid's offer stood out unequivocally. He said that the stature of the club, its forward-looking project, and the opportunity to collaborate with exceptional talents made it an irresistible proposition.
Hence, he seized the opportunity. That, according to him, was the crux of his decision.
